Distribution of Implant Failure Caused by Positioning in a Group of Turkish Patients on CBCT

Purpose: The aim of this report was to evaluate the prevalence implant failure rates due positioning on Cone beam Computerized Tomography. Methods: Study sample (n= 333) consisted CBCT(Cone-beam computerized tomography) scans patients who were referred Department Dentomaxillofacial Radiology, University Health Sciences Turkey, Gülhane Faculty Dentistry, Ankara, Turkey. Obtained data such as age, gender, number implants and locations from CBCT images gathered recorded. Results: consists 333 so total evaluated 844. survival rate between 20-40 years old (49.4%) lower significantly than that ≥ 40 (P=0.001). In R4 (right mandibular region), is 17.5% shows quite low compared other regions. At R1 maxillar region) (39%) R2 (45%) most common reason maxillary sinus perforation, least palatinal bone respectively 4% 1%. Conclusion: Preventing misinterpretations clinicians only possible by correct evaluation incidental findings better knowledge head neck anatomy.
